Recognizing Excellence

The RLCC will provide an annual recognition award ($200 towards any RLCC training) to a teacher who has exemplified passion, skill, and commitment to students with LD including reading, writing, and/or math disabilities.

Evidence of teacher practice:

- Use of science of reading, structured literacy, and Orton-Gillingham implementation in public school

- Testimony from : colleague, parent, and/or school regarding change influence of teacher

- Deadline – May 1 annually ($200 towards RLCC training) for ONE educator
