Lesson 1,3,5,6,7 - Formal Practicum for Associate (must complete both Associate Part A and B prior to practicum)
For those who have completed coursework or a portion of a practicum but have not yet obtained certification, this experience may be referred to as professional development. However, it should not be represented as an OGA certification accreditation or imply credentialing by the Academy.
From the Fellow Standards for Professional Practice (found in the member section of the OGA website):
Coursework alone does not mean that an individual is OGA certified/accredited. Subscriber member coursework is informational only and is NOT considered an OGA credentialed level. All other levels of certification require a practicum component.
Trainees cannot be referred to as OGA trained tutors/teachers unless they complete a full Academy training that includes all coursework, practicum, and certification through the Academy, as clearly outlined in the Academy Curriculum Handbook.
